Enriched Air (Nitrox)
Enriched Air Nitrox is the most popular diving specialty in the world! Increase your no-decompression limits, reduce nitrogen loading, and enjoy longer bottom times, which is especially helpful for repetitive macro dives.
You’ll Learn:
- How Enriched Air reduces nitrogen absorption
- How to analyse gas mixes with an oxygen analyser
- Understanding oxygen exposure and Maximum Operating Depth limits
- Using dive computers with Nitrox settings
- Planning safer multi-dive days
Perfect for: Anyone planning multi-dive days, photographers. Pre-book your EANx course during your stay at Amosphere Resorts.
Sidemount Specialty
Sidemount diving offers incredible streamlining, better trim, easier access to tanks, and unmatched gas redundancy. Learn proper cylinder setup, trim adjustment, gas management, and advanced buoyancy techniques. It’s also the perfect stepping stone for divers interested in technical training. Sidemount diving is becoming increasingly popular for both recreational and technical divers.
Perfect for: Divers seeking better balance, longer dives, or an intro to tech-style configuration. Start your tech diving journey by signing up for the TDI Sidemount Course.
Technical Diving (Tech) Courses
For those ready to move beyond recreational limits, Atmosphere offers comprehensive technical training in-house by Dauin Tech Divers. Learn about Diver Propulsion Vehicles, twinset or sidemount configuration, staged decompression, gas planning, and extended range diving. Our environment—with deep reefs at Apo Island, controlled conditions, and expert instructors—is ideal for developing safer, more capable tech divers.
Perfect for: Experienced divers wanting deeper, longer, or more complex dives.
Deep Diving Specialty
Looking to expand your depth range and dive with more confidence?
The PADI Deep Diver Specialty is designed to train you to safely plan and execute dives down to 40 meters. Over a series of training dives, you’ll learn how increased depth affects buoyancy, gas consumption, narcosis, and task loading, and how to manage these factors through proper planning and controlled diving techniques.
You’ll practice deep dive procedures such as descent and ascent control, gas management, emergency decompression considerations, and the use of surface signaling and backup equipment. The course also emphasizes situational awareness and decision-making at depth, helping you become a more self-reliant and thoughtful diver.
Perfect for: Advanced divers and those interested in tech pathways. Plan deep dives with the PADI Deep Diver Specialty Course.
Peak Performance Buoyancy (PPB)
Buoyancy is a foundational skill that transforms the way you dive.
Hover effortlessly above the sand, adjust position with just your breath, and fine-tune your trim. PPB is especially useful for photographers and critter enthusiasts who want to get close to subjects without disturbing them in fragile muck environments.
Perfect for: All divers, especially new divers, photographers, and critter hunters. Improve your buoyancy skills, sign up to PADI Peak Performance Buoyancy Course.
