An Atmosphere for families

Kids’ cove is our kids’ club and it is a treasure of fun to be discovered by children between the ages of 3 and 12. We organize activities for children ranging from arts & crafts activities, treasure hunts, movie nights and so on. Our Kids’ cove activities are set in our multiuse classroom, a large light and airy glass-walled room with plenty of furniture and free space for the activities for the day.

Adjacent to the room, we have a storage room for all our Kids’ cove equipment, toys, books, paint and educational materials, that we bring out for our arts & crafts sessions. There is also a very large flat screen TV on the wall for movie watching, as well as bean bags and rubber mats to sit on.

We have access to a large playground and a small sports field adjacent to the resort, and is accessible on weekends and school holidays and some days between 4.30 and 5.30pm.

Please note that Kids’ cove activities come with a fee and that certain activities need to be reserved in advance.

If you wish to have a relaxed meal with your kids, we recommend taking your lunch by the pools. Next to our family pools, you’ll find lounging areas that are perfect for snacking whilst watching children play in the shadow of the kalachuchi trees. Other than food, cookies, shakes, smoothies and ice cream are always on offer. Just ask our friendly staff for menus.

Both Breeze and Ocean restaurants have highchairs available for children, alternatively, if parents would like to enjoy a quiet meal we have excellent babysitters on site.

At Atmosphere, scuba diving is 5 star and our dedicated dive staff will carry your child’s dive equipment into the water and help adjust it for them. Our house reef is right in front of the resort – and we have several calm dive sites where children can conveniently dive off our boats where entry and exit from the water is easy.

Once your children are certified – or have completed the pool part of their Discover Scuba experience – you can dive together as a family at many of our easy dive sites.

Kids’ yoga and fitness classes are offered as an additional activity for young ones, please make sure to book yoga beforehand as children have separate classes from the adults. Kids yoga classes are 30 minutes in duration and are for either 3-5 year olds or 6-11 year olds. Children are taken on an imaginary journey incorporating yoga postures and relaxation.

Mountain biking is a wonderful way of exploring the area around Atmosphere with family. We have biking trails ranging from novice, perfect for beginners or families, to more technical and challenging adventures for the more experienced rider.
