On June 8 – World Oceans Day – Atmosphere inaugurated our new trash collecting and recycling station by the beach, using the simple but powerful message “Take 3 for the Sea” , spreading the worldwide message that if each individual picks up 3 pieces of rubbish from the beach, we can all make a difference. As much as we keep our beach front clean, we can’t control the amount of debris that floats ashore along our coastline with currents and tides. We are hoping that guests and staff alike will help out keeping the whole coastline clean. Using our gloves and buckets and disposing of the trash will help – and if you pick up a whole bucket, a complimentary buko (coconut) juice awaits you in the bar.
