Just steps from your accommodation lies our protected house reef — a vibrant underwater haven teeming with marine life. Calm, clear waters make it perfect for both beginners and experienced snorkelers.
Explore a rich variety of habitats: a large seagrass area near the shore, sandy patches ideal for spotting camouflaged critters, and colorful coral reefs to the north — home to clownfish (Nemos), lionfish, frogfish, triggerfish, sea snakes, crabs, soft corals, and the occasional sea turtle (often larger than those seen at Apo Island).
For your safety and comfort, we recommend wearing water shoes as the beach entry and shallow areas can be rocky. Our Snorkeling Map, available at the dive center, offers helpful guidance on entry points, key marine zones, and tips for a safe and enjoyable experience.

Join us on a guided snorkeling trip to the world-renowned Apo Island, a marine sanctuary famous for its biodiversity and expansive coral gardens. Most snorkeling guests share a boat with scheduled diving trips, which run several times per week. If you prefer a dedicated snorkeling trip, this can be arranged on request.
Apo Island is just a 30–40-minute boat ride from the resort, and excursions typically last between 3 to 6 hours. Snorkel in shallow waters alongside sea turtles, explore vibrant reef walls, and marvel at schools of fish and thriving coral ecosystems.
You’ll share the boat with divers, and shaded areas are available for comfort. Snacks and drinks are provided on shared trips with divers. If you book a private boat for a full-day trip, you may request lunch in advance for an additional fee.
Whether exploring the house reef or Apo Island, a trained snorkeling guide will always accompany you. Their primary role is ensuring your safety, and they are equipped with flotation devices (life buoys). Guides also assist nervous swimmers and point out unique marine life to enrich your experience. Booking your guided snorkel in advance is recommended to secure your preferred time.

Join our PADI Advanced Snorkeler Course, a 3–4 hour program that includes a dedicated pool session with one of our certified instructors. Perfect for those who want to build confidence in the water, improve technique, and learn more about safe and responsible snorkeling practices.
All necessary gear is provided, and the course is open to guests of all experience levels.
Snorkeling gear — including mask, snorkel, and fins — is complimentary for all overnight guests. Life jackets and snorkeling vests are also available and included for both house reef and boat trips. Walk-in guests may rent gear from the dive center for a fee.
All excursions include a comprehensive safety briefing and emphasize respectful interaction with the marine environment.
