No family-friendly resort is complete without joint family activities. If you wish to make scuba diving a family event, we offer specific PADI Programs as a great introduction to the underwater world for children, starting at 8 years old. Diving together as a family is a great way to spend a holiday and many of the classes and subsequent dives can be done together.
Our dive instructors are excellent with children and have many years of experience teaching and diving with children of all ages. Our training pools all have shallow ends, which makes it easy even for small children to learn the basics without stress. Our dive equipment also comes in xxxs sizes to cater for the tiniest divers, and we offer underwater toys and games to make the experience more relaxed.
At Atmosphere, scuba diving is 5 star and our dedicated dive staff will carry your child’s dive equipment into the water and help adjust it for them. Our house reef is right in front of the resort – and we have several calm dive sites where children can conveniently dive off our boats where entry and exit from the water is easy.
Once your children are certified – or have completed the pool part of their Discover Scuba experience – you can dive together as a family. We have many entry-level dive sites where you can dive as a group, not worrying about currents or waves, and we always ensure that there are dive guides who keep the children shallow and safe.
